Italian luxury hospitality company, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, will expand its stable of properties to Sardinia from June 2021 after securing a new management contract on the picturesque coast.
To be named Baglioni Resort Sardinia, the addition of the five-star Paradise Resort & Spa will take the group’s collection to nine. Baglioni’s current portfolio includes hotels and resorts in Rome, Florence, Venice and Tuscany in Italy, London, the Maldives, and Saint Paul de Vence and Aix-en-Provence in France.
The new Sardinia property will undergo a rebranding that will also see the resort align with The Leading Hotels of the World consortia.
Located in the marine-protected area of Tavolara on Sardinia’s north-east coast, Baglioni Resort Sardinia is a private estate comprised of 78 rooms, suites and villas, some of which offer breathtaking views across one of Sardinia’s finest beaches just a few minutes’ walk away.
At the Baglioni Resort Sardinia, guests can enjoy a large pool with sun terrace, a Kids Club, two children’s pools and wide-open spaces sweeping down to the sea.
“This year and the next will see our brand start growing and developing again on an international scale, after what was a tremendously difficult year for the whole tourist sector,” said Guido Polito, CEO of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts.
“Although the pandemic has not gone away, I am confident that domestic and international tourism will resume here as early as this summer, albeit gradually, as visitors rediscover what a priceless experience travel can be.”
“Sardinia is a byword for extraordinary natural beauty. Our new resort will be an idyllic haven for a relaxing holiday in absolute safety among ample spaces that blend to perfection with the natural setting,” Polito said.
Bangiloni Resort Sardinia is flagged to open its doors on 1 June 2021.
