Scenic Group positions two brands into one

Emerald Waterways and Emerald Yacht Cruises now trading as Emerald Cruises

Emerald Waterways and Emerald Yacht Cruises have positioned under one single brand identity, now known as Emerald Cruises. The brand is part of the Scenic Group.

All details on the Emerald cruise lines, including river and yacht, vessel comparisons and availability can now be accessed on the one portal, www.emeraldcruises.com.au.

“We are excited to announce the move to our new single brand, Emerald Cruises, at the same time as launching new websites around the world. We believe moving to a single brand will support our long-term growth ambitions as a leading, small ship cruise company,” said David Winterton, Global Director of Brand & Marketing, Emerald Cruises.

“In recent weeks, our portfolio of river and yacht cruises has seen a surge in popularity, and we can’t wait to return to the water with both our new and loyal guests, as soon as it is safe to do so.”

Anthony Laver, Scenic Group GM, Sales & Marketing Australasia said that since launching in 2014, the deluxe Emerald Waterways river cruise brand, and the more recent introduction of the 5-star luxury yacht, Emerald Azzurra (which sails in early 2022) “has captured the imagination of the travel trade, clients and our valued guests.”

“With the new Emerald Cruises brand and website, inspiration and information can now be found in one convenient location,” Laver said.

Emerald Cruises offers a collection of river and yacht cruises on three continents. Emerald Azzurra, the line’s first ocean-going vessel, is scheduled to debut in January 2022. The 100-guest, luxury superyacht will sail the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black and Red Seas.

On the rivers of Europe, Emerald Cruises has a fleet of seven deluxe Star-Ships – with the eighth vessel, Emerald Luna, set to launch later this year. On the Mekong River, the ninth boutique Star-Ship, Emerald Harmony, first set sail in late 2019 with a capacity of just 84 guests.

All river and ocean cruise fares include transfers to and from the vessel on the day of arrival and departure, all onboard meals, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, shore excursions, daily restocked water in cabins, WiFi, and all gratuities and port charges.

“Demand for 2022 yacht and river cruises is very high, as savvy cruisers know there is limited capacity within the small-ship cruising category. Emerald Cruises Super Earlybird savings, deposit protection plan and flexible booking policy are all included for peace of mind, so now is the time to book,” said Angus Crichton, Director of Sales, Marketing & Product for Emerald Cruises.
