The Leading Hotels of the World has welcomed eight new members to its portfolio and a pipeline of 13 highly anticipated new builds debuting in 2021.
LHW’s footprint is growing worldwide, with member additions in new destinations including Kyoto and Budapest. Additionally, LHW openings in locations such as Boston, New York and Shanghai are set to debut this year and make waves in the travel industry.

Kozmo Hotel Budapest (Budapest, Hungary)
Launching Q2 2021, Kozmo Hotel Budapest is a reinterpretation of classic luxury. Located within an historic building near Budapest’s Grand Boulevard, the hotel’s alluring design coupled with accents of the original building evokes a sense of home at this 84-room new hotel. The prime location is just steps from Dohány Street Synagogue and the Great Market.
Borgo Santo Pietro (Chiusdino, Italy)
Situated in the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Santo Pietro was once a healing stopover for medieval pilgrims. Today it continues to provide a sanctuary for modern souls, merging an 800-year old luxury farmhouse hotel and spa concept with a ‘farm-to-plate’ philosophy on a 300-acre estate. The estate encompasses 20 rooms and suites, Michelin-starred restaurants, a holistic spa, organic skincare range Seed to Skin and an extensive working farm.

Fauchon L’Hôtel Kyoto (Kyoto, Japan)
The iconic Fauchon Hospitality brand makes its debut in Kyoto in March 2021. The new hotel provides a stage to showcase French gastronomy with Japanese twists.
