Seabourn has confirmed plans to resume operations after its voluntary cruise pause from July 2021.
The luxury cruise line has developed a series of Mediterranean sailings for COVID-19 fully vaccinated guests, approved by the Government of Greece.
25 seven-day roundtrip voyages from Athens are planned to operate, beginning 3 July, with the final departure on 16 October, 2021.

Seabourn Ovation will offer two seven-day cruises exploring ports throughout the Greek Isles, with itineraries designed to enable guests to book back-to-back voyages to create a 14-day Wonder of the Aegean journey with different destinations on each.
Ports on the week-long Heart of the Aegean itinerary include Agios Nikolaos, Rhodes, Mykonos and Nafplion as well as Limassol in Cyprus, while the Gems of the Greek Isles itinerary include Patmos, Rhodes, Thira and Spetsai and Paphos, Cyprus. Each departure will also include a sea day to lap up the onboard experience offered aboard Seabourn Ovation.
Bookings will open on the new Athens-based sailings on 12 April.

Cruises are open to guests that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Guests will need to have received their final vaccine dose a minimum of 14 days before their cruise. Proof of vaccination and the dates given will be required. Approved forms of documentation will be confirmed closer to time of departure and must be shown at the terminal prior to boarding.
Seabourn passengers will be required to comply with all health protocols that may be in place at the time of their departure. Travellers should check on travel requirements regularly, for both inbound travel and their return home, since policies continue to change based on the latest advice.
Additional initial preventive health measures under Seabourn’s Travel Safe program will also be in place including health screening questionnaires, face mask requirements, physical distancing and capacity controls for indoor venues, as well as enhanced environmental sanitation and HVAC upgrades.
Seabourn Ovation will continue to follow stringent health and safety protocols. The brand’s protocols are subject to change as work continues in collaboration with medical experts and government bodies to ensure the practices evolve in line with the latest advice.
