Crystal more than half-filled the launch departures of its Luxury Iceland Expeditions aboard Crystal Endeavor one day after opening the five departures to the public for sale.
The ultra-luxury cruise company rescheduled the debut of the new expedition ship from its originally intended August 2020 inaugural to 17 July 2021.
“We are thrilled with the response to Crystal Endeavor’s inaugural sailings in Iceland as it is clear that luxury travellers, and returning Crystal Society members in particular, are looking forward to travelling again and reconnecting with their onboard Crystal family on our newest, most innovative ship to date,” said Jack Anderson, Crystal’s Interim President and CEO.
“Crystal Endeavor signifies an entirely new chapter in Crystal’s long history of delivering unforgettable journeys and giving travellers distinctive ways to see the world in the embrace of the Crystal brand.”
Crystal Endeavor’s booking response comes one month after the recently announced Luxury Bahamas Escapes on Crystal Serenity generated Crystal’s highest booking day in its 30-year history, further reaffirming that both Crystal’s loyal fanbase and new-to-Crystal guests are ready to sail the high seas once again.
The Luxury Iceland Expeditions begin on 17 July with five consecutive journeys round-trip from Reykjavík. The voyages highlight the region’s breathtaking coastlines and wildlife havens, massive glaciers and countless waterfalls, quaint villages and fascinating heritage of Iceland’s towns and islands.
The ship accommodates just 200 guests with a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio. Accommodations are elegantly appointed retreats for guests after days full of exploration, with every suite offering private butler service.
