Silversea trims cruise deposit requirement

Mediterranean 2022 voyages available with reduced deposit plus early booking bonus

Silversea Cruises has wound back the deposit requirement on a select range of voyages when booking by 31 August 2021. Guests will now only be required to provide a 15% deposit per suite to secure a booking for departures until April 2022, down from the traditional 25% of the total cruise fare.

Additionally, Silversea is offering up to 20% off cruise fares on select sailings that are booked and paid in full by the end of August 2021. This offer is normally up to 10% off.

After an extended voluntary cruise pause due to the pandemic, Silversea will return to service next week, initially in the Greek Isles on Silver Moon from Friday 18 June, then the Galapagos aboard Silver Origin a day later. And next month the ultra-luxury cruise line will restart operations in both Alaska (Silver Muse) and Iceland (Silver Shadow).

To mark an expected mid-2022 return to international travel for Australians, Silversea has curated a collection of spectacular voyages in the Mediterranean from June 2022 onwards.

Flexible booking conditions have been extended on the brand-new ships, Silver Moon and Silver Dawn which will join the refurbished Silver Spirit.

For a limited time, and in addition to the decreased deposit and trimmed final payment offer, Silversea is including one shore excursion in every port on all Mediterranean sailings (from April 2022), and single travellers can take advantage of a single supplement of only 25% on select voyages.
