Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Express is now including return international flights from Australia or New Zealand when booking its top-selling Follow the Lights itinerary for the 2022/23 season.
The offer applies on either Southbound or Northbound trips through Finland, Estonia and Norway, on the 15-day or 19-day voyage. Prices currently lead-in at $9,999* on the Follow the Lights with Flights Tours, which go in search of the Northern Lights.

For travellers joining the 19-day northbound voyage, after arriving in Oslo, the first leg of the ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ journey sees them arrive in Flåm for an iconic rail experience onboard the Flåm Railway. Guests will visit hamlets, sail through fjords, and visit coastal communities whilst searching for the magical Northern Lights as they spend six days sailing along the Norwegian coastline. On arrival into Kirkenes in Norway’s far north, they head south to Finnish Lapland to visit the Santa Claus Village and spend an evening in a glass igloo. They then discover Finnish Lakeland, where they’ll stay in log accommodation. Guests then continue to Helsinki where they’ll enjoy a half-day tour. A full-day tour to medieval Tallinn in Estonia culminates in a farewell dinner to commemorate the journey.
