Radisson Hotel Group is adding two premium lifestyle Radisson Collection hotels to its portfolio in Milan and Venice. The properties are among seven new signings to the Group across Italy that will open in 2021.
Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice and Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan will open their doors this summer. Both properties will offer guests the quintessential Radisson Collection experience with architectural excellence, extraordinary local character, and exceptional service.
Built in the 16th century, Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is an iconic boutique hotel situated in a prestigious location close to the Ponte delle Guglie and overlooks the Cannaregio Canal. Following an extensive restoration, the Palazzo Nani will become the perfect embodiment of the Radisson Collection brand, blending impeccable design with the authenticity and vibrant atmosphere of this unique location. This Venetian jewel of Renaissance architecture will feature 52 rooms and three apartments. It will open in September 2021.
Once the headquarters of the Touring Club Italiano founded in 1894, the historic building in Milan’s city centre has been extensively renovated and will be the home to the new 89-room Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan. The hotel will offer exceptional services and amenities in a vibrant and cosmopolitan setting, including The Bertarelli Restaurant and the Club’s remarkable historic library. The property is located within a 10-minute walk from the city’s world-famous Duomo, Teatro alla Scala, and the Quadrilatero della Moda fashion district. It will welcome guests from 30 August 2021.
The two new properties will bring the total number of Radisson Collection properties in Italy to six.
Other Group additions include two properties under the Radisson Individuals brand, two new Radisson hotels in Ferrara and Nola (in partnership with Mira Group), and the 329 room and suite Radisson Blu in Florence, opening 1 December.
Chema Basterrechea, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Radisson Hotel Group said: “Radisson Hotel Group has a strong reputation in Italy as one of the world’s leading international hotel groups known for our smart, flexible, and dynamic way of working. I am very proud to continue building our reputation in this key market. We have grown exponentially from three to close to 20 hotels in just a few years. We are extremely grateful to our local partners and see these openings as a positive signal for the recovery of the hotel industry in Italy.”
