The first voyage of Celebrity Cruises‘ state-of-the-art mega yacht, Celebrity Flora, to sail in the Galapagos Islands in more than 15 months has departed this week. Celebrity Flora is the first of three Celebrity branded ships to resume service in the archipelago, offering week-long itineraries.
The sailing will be followed by Celebrity Xpedition on 24 July and the intimate 16-passenger Celebrity Xploration on 18 September. They will both equally explore the Galapagos with Northern and Southern Loop itineraries, while offering ultimate individual indulgences.

“The Galapagos islands are a treasure and a destination that is incomparable to any other in the world. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome guests aboard the most special ship in this region for the very special, bucket-list voyage they have been dreaming of for so many months,” said Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.
Celebrity Cruises has established new health and safety measures in accordance with guidance from public health authorities, government agencies, and its own team of health and safety experts to provide guests with the peace of mind to fully enjoy their voyage.
All Celebrity ships will sail with a vaccinated crew. In the Galapagos, US guests aged 16 and older must be fully vaccinated and, as of 1 August 2021, all US guests aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated. Requirements for Non-US guests vary – more details at celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea.
