Scenic has soft-launched its 2022/23 Canada, Alaska and USA brochure, featuring two all-new itineraries and for the first time, a collection of Scenic Eclipse ocean cruise and land journeys.
The Australian-founded company has been offering luxury land journeys to Canada, Alaska and the USA for 21 years. Hallmarks of the program include Scenic Freechoice activities and Scenic Enrich experiences, plus the finest dining, accommodation, cruise and rail experiences. Scenic has 13 core itineraries exploring the Canadian and US Rockies, Alaska, national parks and Eastern Canada. Three of those trips can be extended with the addition of a large-ship cruise.
Multi-night extensions are also available from Vancouver to Knight Inlet and Long Beach Lodge Resort; a Northern Lights experience from Whitehorse and the annual Calgary Stampede.
The 22-day America’s National Parks and Rockies to the Red Rockies itinerary operates from Calgary to Denver on four set departure dates in May and August 2022. Guests will visit national parks including Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and Waterton Lakes in Alberta, Canada before crossing the border into the USA, travelling through Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. En-route stops are made at Glacier, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley.
Rocky Mountaineer’s new overnight Rockies to the Red Rocks itinerary from Moab to Denver concludes the journey, with guests experiencing the SilverLeaf Plus service.
The tour is priced from $17,795 per person twin share.
Also new is the month-long (31 days) Majestic Rockies & the Colours of Eastern Canada trip from Calgary to Boston. This behemoth journey incorporates an exploration of the Canadian Rockies (Banff and Lake Louise) and GoldLeaf service on the Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver, paired with a seven-night Holland America Line cruise of the Inside Passage. Guests then fly cross-country to Montreal where they commence and Eastern Canada itinerary to Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto and Niagara Falls, cross the border and traverse Pennsylvania’s Amish Culture in Lancaster before exploring Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston.
The itinerary has three departure dates in April, May and August 2022, with prices starting from $22,195 per person twin share.
Scenic Eclipse options
Scenic is also showcasing five Ocean Cruising and Land Journeys aboard the ‘six-star’ Scenic Eclipse, which will be cruising the Inside Passage, Northwest passage and US West Coast.
Voyages highlighted include Scenic Eclipse‘s 21-day Copenhagen to Anchorage expedition via Canada’s High Arctic; 15-day Anchorage to Vancouver departure; and 10-day Vancouver to San Diego cruise.
Two special curated land journeys for Scenic Eclipse guests are also available. These trips are offered for a maximum of 20 guests and include; a week-long Wilds of Alaska package round trip from Anchorage to Denali National Park and Talkeetna; and a 10-day Canadian Rockies & Wilderness journey between Calgary and Victoria, also including the Rocky Mountaineer (GoldLeaf).

Earlybird savings of up to $2,000 per couple are available on journeys of 20-days duration or more, or $1,500 per couple on trips between 14 and 19 days, when booked by 6 January 2022, unless sold out prior.
An Early Payment Discount of $300 per couple is also available when paid in full by 6 January 2022.
