Mondrian has marked its return to London this week, with the opening of Mondrian Shoreditch at the site of the former five-star Curtain hotel.
Mondrian Shoreditch London is the sixth property in Accor’s luxury lifestyle brand, joining sister-hotels in Los Angeles, New York, South Beach, Doha and Seoul.
The brand had previously operated in London for a short period at the site of the Sea Containers, until early 2019.

Following a major overhaul and complete redesign by award-winning London interior design studio, Goddard Littlefair, Mondrian Shoreditch London has re-emerged as a new 120-bedroom lifestyle hotel, including 13 suites, positioned on Curtain Road, in East London’s creative and cultural hub.
Now open with a number of signature food and beverage outlets, including a new culinary experience by world-famous chef Dani García, the property also offers a co-working space, premium dining and mixology concepts and boasts a members rooftop pool and lounge.
Hotel guests will also have access to the exclusive rooftop, Altitude at The Curtain, for breakfast. The space will otherwise be exclusively for members of The Curtain, the hotel’s private members club, opening 1 September.
Mondrian’s future hotel pipeline includes new projects on the Gold Coast, Singapore, Dubai, Mexico, Hoi An, Cannes and Bordeaux.
