A new tool to assist event organisers with securing MICE business at sea has been released by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection (RCYC).

The new ultra-luxury yacht company, whose maiden ship Evrima will launch later this year, has rolled out a Planning Meetings and Incentives at Sea guide, which highlights the opportunities for groups to “network, deepen connections and brainstorm fresh ideas” while on a cruise.

The RCYC is pitching Evrima at employee and sales incentives, meetings and conferences, customer and client appreciation, special group events, celebrations, as well as accommodations for international sporting events and festivals.

Incentive Groups are based on a minimum of 10 suites, and to a maximum of 30 can be accommodated at double-occupancy. Groups also earn a yacht credit of US$300 per suite, and every 11th suite is complimentary.

At a capacity of 298-guests, there is also the option for event-organisers to secure a full-yacht charter of Evrima, for a minimum of five-nights sailing. A buyout included the added flexibility to customise the voyage itinerary, to shore excursions and suite configurations, whereby suite count can be reduced from 148 to 106 “providing similar accommodation for top performers”.

Another perk of a full-yacht charter is the option to arrange additional experiences on land through RCYC’s association with The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott luxury properties worldwide.

Additionally, buyouts can have customised menus, collateral and co-brand gifts organised.

The guide also outlines the array of onboard venues that events can be arranged at, from The Ritz-Carlton Spa or Gym, to The Pool, Living Room, Humidor and Marina and Marina Terrace. A chart lists the capacity of those 17 venues, including the eight onboard restaurants, for seated and standing functions, and in addition to Evrima‘s own Meeting Rooms.

Full-charter rates are available on application with the cruise line.

Currently, destinations where Evirma can be chartered are limited to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Central America, along with transAtlantic crossings. Additional destinations are however likely to be added as The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection expands its fleet in the years ahead.
