Quark Expeditions is offering 17 itineraries in its newly-released Arctic 2023 program. Many of the Arctic expeditions – which run from early-May to early-October – are offered aboard the polar adventure specialist’s new technologically-advanced ship, Ultramarine.
Ultramarine is Quark Expeditions’ latest state-of-the-art vessel, equipped with two helicopters and 20 Zodiacs, will guests onboard able to select from a wide range of adventure options, such as flight-seeing and helicopter-supported mountain biking.
The 2023 Arctic program is primarily based around departures from Spitsbergen between May and July 2023, comprised of two core itineraries; the 10-day ‘Introduction to Spitsbergen: Fjords, Glaciers and Wildlife of Svalbard’ and the 12-day ‘Spitsbergen Explorer: Wildlife Capital of the Arctic’ – both of which with four dates.

Ultramarine will be utilised exclusively on Quark Expeditions’ five departures in Canada (between late July and September), including four back-to-back Northwest Passage explorations, and the vessel’s longest expedition of the season – the 20-day ‘Best of Western Arctic: Canada and Greenland’ itinerary departing on 11 September 2023.
The program features five voyages through Greenland, two of which go in search of the Northern Lights aboard Ocean Adventurer. The same vessel will also operate two multi-destination expeditions and two Russian voyages, including the 22-day ‘High Arctic Odyssey: Remote Russian Archipelagos’.

New bookings can save up to 25% when booking by 1 November 2021, plus guests who pay in full on select voyages within 30 days of booking will receive a further 10% discount on the voyage fare.
