AmaWaterways is capitalising on demand for its ultra-long Seven River Journey by adding a new third departure in 2023. Departing in the northern Autumn from Paris on 24 August, the 47-day itinerary complements previously released journeys in Spring and Summer.
At the release of the first Seven River Journey departure earlier this year, Rudy Schreiner, President and Co-Founder of AmaWaterways, referred to the extended duration voyage as an alternative to a world ocean cruise.
The third iteration encompasses three AmaWaterways ships. Guests embark on AmaLyra to sail along the Seine River, before transferring to AmaCerto in Amsterdam to experience the sites along the Scheldt, Maas, Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers. The journey concludes with two weeks on AmaVerde sailing the full length of the Danube.

Fourteen countries will be explored – France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania – concluding in Giurgiu on 9 October 2023.

The Autumn Seven River Journey is priced from US$26,999 per person twin share in a Window Category E stateroom; US$35,998 is in a French Balcony Category CB/C stateroom; and US$49,998 is in a Suite.
