Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has officially opened its first property in France. Kimpton St Honoré Paris has been developed within a 1917 Art Nouveau building and formerly a 1900s department store, located in the Parisian Opera District, a stone’s throw from Place Vendôme, the Paris Opera, Faubourg St Honoré and the Tuileries Gardens.
The 123 guest rooms and 26 suites are inspired by Parisian apartments with balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows and selected works of art adding a splash of Kimpton’s bold design and Parisian chic to the hotel’s interiors.

On the ground floor of the hotel is Montecito Restaurant & Bar, offering a contemporary take on a relaxed brasserie influenced by the multicultural cuisine of America’s Pacific West Coast. The hotel’s casual rooftop bar and garden, Sequoia, offers 360° views over the rooftops of Paris and its emblematic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and Opéra Garnier.
The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and a spa run by French brand CODAGE.
As with all Kimpton hotels, there are bikes available for guests to borrow to explore the city and Kimpton St Honoré Paris has partnered with a local, family-owned specialist bicycle shop, La Roue Libre, moments away from the hotel. The hotel has also partnered with luxury dog treat company Bonne & Filou to provide all four-legged guests with Dog Macarons upon arrival, nodding to Kimpton’s renowned pet-friendly policy at all its hotels worldwide.
Rooms at Kimpton St Honoré Paris start from US$520 /€450/£380 GBP per night.
There are currently 75 Kimpton hotels open globally, with an additional 32 new hotels in the pipeline. Kimpton will debut in Australia later this year with the opening of Kimpton Sydney at the former Primus Hotel Sydney.
