Anantara to open third resort in Bali

New site in Ubud to complement Seminyak and Uluwatu retreats

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has revealed its third property in Bali will open in mid-2022.

Anantara Ubud Bali Resort will offer 85 guest rooms and one- and two-bedroom pool villas, each a calming haven of serenity inspired by the culture and traditions of the locale. There will also be a choice of 15 Anantara residences on-site.

“Ubud is one of the last remaining lush green areas of Bali which puts us in a prime position to develop a premium eco-friendly resort for the discerning luxury traveller,” commented Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels, the parent company of Anantara.

Ubud, is well-known as the centre of Balinese culture, home to rainforest and terraced rice fields, dotted with Hindu temples. Located in the traditional hillside village of Payangan, a 1.5-hour drive from Bali’s international airport and 35 minutes from the centre of Ubud by car, Anantara Ubud Bali Resort brings Anantara’s unique brand of luxury to the island’s lush jungle centre.

Anantara Ubud Bali Resort amenities will include an infinity swimming pool, a gym and fitness facilities.

Anantara’s existing properties in Bali include Anantara Seminyak Resort and Anantara Uluwatu Resort.
