Regent Seven Seas Cruises is accepting pre-registrations for the launch itineraries for its next ultra-luxury ship, Seven Seas Grandeur, ahead of bookings opening next week on 23 September 2021.
The sixth ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet will enter service in November 2023. Seven Seas Grandeur will debut with a collection of 17 voyages in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, plus transAtlantic sailings.
A sister-ship to Seven Seas Explorer, and the newest fleet addition, Seven Seas Splendor, RSSC last week revealed its first look at some of the stunning range of suite categories that will be offered aboard Grandeur, including the next iteration of the top-of-the-line Regent Suite.

The initial program features sailings ranging from seven- to 16-nights duration, leading in from AU$4,620 (NZ$5,000), up to AU$112,440 (NZ$121,810) per guest.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Steve Odell, SVP and Managing Director, Asia Pacific says this pre-registration period – from now up until when bookings open – is crucial for travel partners.
“With almost 18 months of not sailing and increasing demand for luxury cruising, there is a strong fear of missing out, which is driving bookings well into 2023,” Odell told LATTE. “This is why we launched our 2023/2024 Voyage Collection early, to accommodate pent-up demand and offer our guests more choice of sailings.
“People want to travel and we are seeing a much higher spend; people are booking the top-level suites and planning much longer trips,” Odell said.
“Next year is already more than two-thirds full, so we are encouraging agents to remind their clients to book early to secure their preferred suite and itinerary.”

Seven Seas Splendor, delivered in early 2020, resumed operation earlier this month out of the UK. Her fleet-mates will be back in operation by February next year.
“We are very proud to see Seven Seas Splendor successfully complete her first cruise back, sailing roundtrip Southampton after a long hiatus,” Odell said. “Our loyal crew welcomed the first guests on board and by all accounts it was a very emotional experience for all involved. Guests donned their Commodore jackets and did the honours of cutting the ribbon, to mark the resumption of Seven Seas Spendor’s inaugural season this month.”
“We are looking forward to seeing all five of the world’s most luxurious fleet back sailing the Seven Seas by February 2022, the year of our 30th anniversary. We are ready to return, and our crew will be there eagerly waiting to welcome all our guests back onboard once again,” he said.
Odell says the Explorer class ships have been game-changing for the luxury segment of the cruise industry, both with past guests and new-to-brand, thanks to their “exquisite, state-of-the-art design”.
“We have seen incredible demand for sister-ships Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor, so the addition of another 375 suites on board Seven Seas Grandeur will help us to grow the brand even further in this market.”
The RSSC boss said Grandeur will have some similarities to Explorer and Splendor in terms of ship design and layout. But there will be new spaces, such as the Parlor to the Regent Suite, and new designs of restaurants Prime 7 and French Chartreuse, along with a rejuvenated Observation Lounge.

“The new renderings for these restaurants tell the story of their nostalgic design inspirations from 1925 Paris and the Art Deco movement, to the romance of turn of the century New York,” Odell said.
To assist travel advisors with their pre-registrations Regent Seven Seas has a suite of tools and marketing resources available, including customisable flyers, digital assets and social tiles, accessed via the Travel Partner Center.
“We also invite travel partners to proactively contact their databases, not just those existing cruise clients but also new to cruise – this is a prime opportunity to upsell luxury cruising with the benefits of our fleet offering unrivalled space at sea on smaller ship,” Odell said.
