DUCO Travel Summit will host its first annual DUCO France destination-oriented travel event in Paris from 11-15 October. Following the significant success of its sister event, DUCO Italy, the DUCO team has expanded to add this annual invitation-only niche French initiative, focused on the high-end travel industry in France.
“It is an honour to inaugurate DUCO France, a niche initiative focused on promoting the excellence of French hospitality to the world’s most important travel agencies. Our commitment is to support high-end tourism in France and contribute for the best results for the destination, by bringing experts together, fostering education and keeping the curiosity alive, year-round,” said Carolina Perez, Founder of DUCO.
DUCO France’s four-day ‘Vive La France’ experience will celebrate France’s world of refined hospitality, showcasing the country’s diverse beauty and culture, while promoting a full immersion in French lifestyle. A curated selection of the most important high-end hoteliers and travel suppliers, including icons of French hospitality, along with the most elegant boutique properties, will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the world’s top English-speaking travel advisors and travel specialists who focus on France. The event includes 15 minute appointments and engaging evening events.
DUCO’s Exhibitors include France’s top high-end hotels and experiences, elite inbound tour operators as well as exclusive villa rental companies. Buyers are composed of a selection of world-class travel professionals and highly qualified frontline travel advisors who are invited and hosted by DUCO.
And while Australian-based travel partners may not be able to attend due to border closures, a dedicated page on Facebook for DUCO France has been created with a wealth of information, including photo galleries and video snippets from delegates attending.
The travel summit’s sponsors and hosts for the weeklong event appointments include The Peninsula Paris, Shangri-La Paris, and InterContinental Paris – Le Grand.
To enhance guests’ experience, DUCO has partnered with the esteemed Parisian property, Hôtel de Crillon, a Rosewood Hotel, which will host the summit’s registration activities. Luncheons will be organized by the event’s prestigious co-sponsors who include La Réserve Paris, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, Kimpton Paris St Honoré, Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s, Hôtel de Crillon, The Peninsula Paris, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris and Hôtel Lancaster.
Dorchester Collection’s French properties, Le Meurice and Plaza Athénée, are also co-sponsoring the event and hosting DUCO’s first evening event, an elegant French-themed cocktail. Monaco Government Tourist Authority, a co-sponsor of DUCO, will host the closing evening events.
DUCO France’s destination partners include ATOUT France, Paris Region Tourist Board, and Paris Convention & Visitors Bureau, which will welcome DUCO’s guests for a reception in the most important maison in Paris, Hôtel de Ville.
DUCO France is the first travel summit to focus on France as one single destination, highlighting the excellence of French hospitality to the world’s most important buyers. With DUCO, France is on the calendar of the world’s finest travel events with its innovative approach to arranging meetings every day in a different venue.
Created by the Brazilian-Italian entrepreneur and event specialist Carolina Perez (pictured right, 5 weeks ago), DUCO France has been designed to foster networking opportunities between top French hospitality providers and the best travel advisors from key markets such as North America, UK and Australia.
