PONANT has announced its annual Chairman’s Cruise will be hosted aboard Le Paul Gauguin in French Polynesia in 2022.
Sarina Bratton AM, Chairman for PONANT Asia Pacific will be hosting the cruise which has been planned especially for Australian and New Zealand guests. A custom itinerary will unlock the best of the Tahitian islands and an extra enrichment activity package just for this special voyage has been added.
Departing Papeete on 4 June 2022, the 11-night roundtrip voyage will travel to Moorea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Raiatea and Motu Mahana in the Society Islands and Rangiroa and Fakarava in the Tuamotu Islands.

Tailored for members PONANT Yacht Club members and new passengers from Australasia, Le Paul Gauguin will explore the attractions, culture and cuisine of French Polynesia with Expedition Manager Asia Pacific Mick Fogg. Highlights range from a beach BBQ lunch on Paul Gauguin’s private island, Motu Mahana, to shopping for local black pearl jewellery.
Pre- and post-cruise hotel packages at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa are available and there will be a pre-sailing cocktail party on the night of 3 June, prior to departure.

Health formalities related to COVID-19 will be confirmed to guests ahead of their voyage.
Prices for a Balcony Stateroom on the Chairman’s Cruise 2022 are currently priced from AU$11,780 per person twin share. Porthole Staterooms are priced from AU$8,640 per person twin share.
