Relax in Luxurious Hotel Spas
From caviar facials to steam and ice treatments, Monaco’s hotel spas offer a unique voyage for the senses. The Principality is home to some of the world’s finest hotel spas, including wellness oasis Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo. This Monaco institution boasts a heated seawater pool and offers signature massages, including foot cocooning and cryotherapy, which uses freezing temperatures to reduce stress and jet lag. Down the road, Spa Metropole by Givenchy embodies the modern sophistication of the House of Givenchy. Decorated in shades of white, ten treatment rooms feature embossed walls inspired by haute couture lace. Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo’s recently unveiled wellness experience, the Wellness Sky Club, offers a 500-square-metre space located on the top floor of the iconic 5-star hotel with spectacular 360 degree views of The Prince’s Palace and the Place du Casino.
Indulge in Organic Cuisine
At Michelin-starred Elsa restaurant, the chef offers a menu featuring strictly organic products. In the buzzing heart of Monte-Carlo, 5-star Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo’s Odyssey-terrace lures with an extensive drinks menu, including a cocktail made with organic honey. At the Blue Bay restaurant (1 Michelin star), chef Marcel Ravin prepares exotic fare with products from the organic vegetable garden on the hotel grounds, run by urban agriculturist Terrae, whilst Les Perles de Monaco invites you to sample local oysters.
Spend a day by the Lagoon
The 4-star Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort welcomes you for a real well-being getaway in Monaco. The hotel features all the infrastructure for such an experience: an outdoor lagoon connected to a covered swimming pool, a fitness room, the 5 Mondes Spa and its incomparable products and more.
Explore Monaco by e-bike
After a good night’s sleep, breakfast on the terrace and perhaps a massage or some fitness care to start the day, you can set out to explore Monaco, either on foot or on a bicycle – thanks to the Monabike service, who currently boast 390 electric bikes and 42 stations. To promote walking, Monaco is home to 79 public elevators and 35 escalators, making it easy to get around by foot.
Relax by a Rooftop Pool
For an afternoon of relaxation, sunshine and enjoyment, go up to Nikki Beach Club at the Hotel Fairmont’s rooftop. Deckchairs, cocktails, sunlight, swimming pool and ‘lounge’ music will punctuate a recreational afternoon in the heart of town, overlooking the sea.
Hit the Beach
After an extensive redevelopment project, Monaco’s new Larvotto Beach district has recently reopened to residents and tourists. The project started in October 2019 with high environmental aims such as energy efficiency for the shops and services areas which will benefit the entire district. Later, from winter 2021, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a completely new commercial area, with seven additional businesses set to add to the existing facilities after the summer.
Stroll Monaco’s Parks and Gardens
With 20% of Monaco’s territory dedicated to green spaces, the Principality is a perfect place to stroll. Each of Monaco’s parks and gardens has its own distinctive character. There are the Saint-Martin Gardens in Monaco-Ville, the Petite Afrique gardens just a stone’s throw from the iconic Casino de Monte Carlo, the Princess Grace Rose Garden, the beautifully landscaped district of Fontvieille, and many more besides. All offer a welcome chance to unwind in a memorable setting, in the heart of the city or overlooking the Mediterranean …
Get Water Active
Invigorating activities available in the Principality include windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, banana boats, jet skis, parascending, at Larvotto Beach and Monte Carlo Beach. Sailing is within easy reach with the enthusiastic professionals of the Monaco Yacht Club.
