Celebrity to position three ships in Alaska in 2023

Eclipse, Solstice and Millennium all bound for the Last Frontier

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled plans to operate three ships in Alaska for the 2023 Summer season.

Sailings will run from 3 May to mid-September, including visits to the majestic glaciers of the Inside Passage on every itinerary. Every journey will give guests the chance to learn more about the culture and history of the Last Frontier, from the native Tinglit people to the gold rush days that brought adventurers and fortune seekers to the wilds of Alaska.

Highlights of Celebrity’s 2023 Alaska season include:

Sailing roundtrip from Vancouver and passing through the Inside Passage not once but twice, Celebrity Eclipse will offer seven-night itineraries to Hubbard Glacier, as well as visits to Juneau, Ketchikan and either Sitka or Icy Strait Point.

With seven-night itineraries sailing roundtrip from Seattle and one nine-night Ultimate Alaska voyage, Celebrity Solstice is the only Celebrity ship to visit the pristine Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier. Additional stops include visits to Victoria, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.

Celebrity Millennium offers the opportunity to see a little more of Alaska by sea with seven-night, open-ended itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, at the gateway to northern Alaska. A multi-night Cruisetour can be added to these sailings to journey deeper into the heart of Alaska giving guests the chance to get up close to Denali.

Adding a Cruisetour before or after a Celebrity cruise provides guests the chance to explore more of Alaska. Offering nine- to 13-night Cruisetours in 2023, Celebrity’s guests stay in first-class lodging, ride the Wilderness Express and visit incredible destinations such as Homer, Anchorage and Fairbanks.

Celebrity Eclipse bound for Los Angeles

Following her Alaska deployment, Celebrity Eclipse will return to Los Angeles to explore the Pacific Coast between late September and early December 2023.

These voyages will visit places such as Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Catalina Island, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco, Calif.; and Astoria, Oregon.

In addition, Celebrity Cruises has added a new itinerary featuring stops at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and San Diego; and will call on the new port La Paz, Mexico.

Highlights of the Celebrity Eclipse 2023 season include:

  • 7-night Pacific Coastal sailings visiting San Francisco, Santa Barbara and San Diego, creating a unique opportunity to enjoy the region’s famous wineries and gourmet food scenes;
  • An 8-night South-of-the-Border Mexican Riviera itinerary with stops in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, La Paz and Puerto Vallarta;
  • An all-new 6-night itinerary featuring an overnight stop in Cabo San Lucas, and a visit to San Diego.;
  • A 6-night repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles visiting Victoria, British Columbia; Astoria, Oregon; and featuring an overnight in San Francisco.
