PONANT has opened the books for its 2023 Kimberley Expedition season which features 14 departures on dual ships in the region, Le Lapérouse or Le Soléal.
Operating between April and October 2023, the popular 10-night ‘Australia’s Iconic Kimberley’ itinerary journeys between Broome and Darwin, showcasing the wild and grand landscapes of the Kimberley.
Deb Corbett, PONANT General Manager Sales and Marketing Asia Pacific said small ship luxury expeditions in the Kimberley have become increasingly desirable.
“Historically, ‘Australia’s Iconic Kimberley’ has been incredibly popular, and we anticipate the 2023 Kimberley season to sell very quickly with unrelenting demand as there have already been a high number of pre registrations.”
“Australia’s Kimberley is one of the greatest wonders of our country, with such grandeur and majestic beauty; it’s certainly an absolute bucket list destination for both Australians and international tourists and we look forward to sharing it again to those whose travel plans have been put on hold for the past two seasons,” Corbett said.
The itinerary explores the Hunter River, King George River on a Zodiac excursion and reaching the majestic Twin Falls, a visit to Collier Bay to explore Montgomery Reef, and more.
PONANT’s modern, purpose-built, intimately sized ships offer a unique sailing experience, offering unparalleled comfort and luxury for exploring the region. Le Soléal provides 95% balcony accommodation while Le Lapérouse offers a balcony or private deck area for all accommodation.
Prices start at $10,550 per person twin share aboard Le Lapérouse and $9,740 aboard Le Soléal.
