Captain’s Choice unveils Luxury Lodges journeys

New collection of private jet itineraries utilising the Fokker F70 Royal Jet

Captain’s Choice has unveiled a series of adventures by Royal Jet to some of Australia’s luxury lodges, visiting extraordinary destinations in true luxury.

Guests will have the opportunity to fly to Australia’s remote regions aboard an aircraft fit for royalty. Previously the official plane of the Dutch government, and routinely flown by the Dutch Royal Family, the Fokker F70 Royal Jet will provide truly elegant journeys and dignified arrivals.

Restricted to just 22 guests, each itinerary includes stays in properties as opulent as they are secluded and taking advantage of routes as convenient as they are rare, all the while enjoying the comfort of VIP business class.

Lakes, Valleys & The Vine by Royal Jet

Departing Brisbane on the 12 November 2022, the eight-day journey will take in three residences in Australia’s south-east; enjoying the vintages of the Barossa at The Louise, Wolgan Valley’s rugged allure staying at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley and the replenishing waters of Daylesford, at Lake House. This journey features an abundance of local encounters, immersions in nature and untold gourmet indulgences.

In each destination, Captain’s Choice guests are spoilt for choice with a range of Your World experiences. From walks through rugged and remote bushland accompanied by an expert guide, to joining a sommelier and touring a 10,000 bottle wine cellar; from a bespoke gin masterclass to learning how to make authentic Italian cuisine.

Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley Resort

Rainforest, Reef & Red Centre by Royal Jet

Departing Sydney on 18 August 2022, this week-long journey will feature four contrasting, yet perfectly complementary Australian landscapes. From beginning to end, guests will receive the royal treatment, with stays at three of Australia’s most opulent lodges – Longitude 131, Uluru; Silky Oaks Lodge, Daintree; and Mt Mulligan Lodge, Mount Mulligan.

Throughout this journey, guests will be immersed in the culture of Red Centre, learning about the fascinating geology and its significance to the Anangu people, circling Uluru on foot at sunrise, visiting the Mutitjulu waterhole and arriving at Kantju Gorge as the setting sun illuminates it walls. Guests will also have a variety of Your World experiences during their stay at Mt Mulligan, from delving into region’s gold rush history to fishing trips.

Longitude 131, Uluru

In the Daintree, guests will explore the Rainforest, gaining knowledge of the Indigenous significance and beauty of Mossman Gorge with a local Kuku Yalanji guide. The final leg of the tour is in the Whitsundays, with a cruise of the islands culminating in an unforgettable, gourmet feast set on a specially reserved section of Whitehaven beach.

Heart of The Kimberley & Margaret River by Royal Jet

Departing Sydney on the 27 September next year, the nine-day journey will travel to some of the most remote regions of Australia. Guests will have the opportunity to traverse Western Australia, pausing for a special outback experience with canapés and bubbles overlooking Uluru and spending six nights in the Kimberley’s finest lodges, before capping the trip off in the culinary paradise of Margaret River, indulging in the finest dining that the region has to offer.

Guests will stay at Berkeley River Lodge, Kimberley; El Questro Homestead, Kimberley: and  Cape Lodge, Margaret River.

King George Helicopter

Captain’s Choice guests will have the chance to admire the Kimberley’s beauty from unique perspectives on a series of special helicopter flights: enjoying birds-eye views hovering above King George Falls before landing next to a nearby waterhole, and soaring over the cliffs of the Cockburn Range before coming to rest on a vast sandstone escarpment in time to savour wine and cheese at sunset.

The Kimberley adventure can be customised with an array of Your World Experiences, from a cruise of Chamberlain Gorge and Berkeley River to a discovery of Casuarina Falls and Zebedee Springs, or fishing and 4WD tours. Guests will indulge in some of Australia’s greatest dining experiences in Margaret River, with a tour of Fraser Gallop Estate and a farewell dinner at the fabled Vasse Felix Estate.

These new Royal Jet itineraries complement Captain’s Choice recently launched range of 2022 Private Aircraft adventures around Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.
