Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launched its first-ever Travel Advisor Appreciation Month this November – an annual event designed to recognise and reward the incredible efforts of its valued travel partners throughout Australia and New Zealand.
For its inaugural year, ‘Regent Loves Travel Advisors’ will pay homage to travel advisors who have supported the ultra-luxury cruise line both prior to, and during, the COVID-19 pandemic, and as the line looks towards a bright future, with an exciting WAVE season ahead in early 2022. Acknowledging how tough the past 18 months has been for travel advisors, it is Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ opportunity to thank its loyal partners as the travel industry rebuilds and restarts operations after a long hiatus.

The month will culminate in three exquisite travel advisor lunches to be hosted in Melbourne and Sydney by the Regent Seven Seas Cruises sales team.

Steel cutting for Seven Seas Grandeur
Meanwhile, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has commenced construction of Seven Seas Grandeur, with the ship’s steel-cutting ceremony having taken place at Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy last week.
Seven Seas Grandeur is the third ship RSSC’s Explorer-class series which includes Seven Seas Explorer and the latest addition to the fleet, Seven Seas Splendor.
“Seven Seas Grandeur will be a culmination of Regent’s rich history of providing discerning travellers unrivalled experiences with every imaginable luxury included, and worldwide, immersive exploration,” Montague, said. “We are delighted to once again be in the hands of the talented engineers of Fincantieri, who will produce a ship of refined style, matchless elegance and breath-taking beauty.”
Revealed earlier this year, the 750-guest ship will debut in late 2023, featuring the latest iteration of the decadent Regent Suite.
Montague continued: “We recently recommenced operations with the re-inaugural season of our newest ship, Seven Seas Splendor, and our incredible journey continues with this milestone as we begin construction of Seven Seas Grandeur. In two years’ time we will welcome the sixth ship to the world’s most luxurious fleet, which will exemplify our heritage of perfection with unrivalled space, unparalleled service, exceptional cuisine and transformative experiences that will begin the moment you step aboard.”
Seven Seas Grandeur‘s inaugural sailing is a 14-night voyage from Barcelona to Miami on 25 November 2023.
