Smartflyer Australia, a Virtuoso network member, has seen an increase in the number of independent contractors joining the business – with advisors joining from within the industry and several from outside.
Brent Wallace, Smartflyer Australia Director said:“We love the fact that even in these times, we are attracting new entrants into the industry. Those with a passion for travel who see the light and opportunity to build their own travel business coming out of the recent pandemic period.”
The business has witnessed a 75% increase in activity since September 2021, with booking levels reaching 65% of the 2019 volume.
“We attribute this increase to the entrepreneurial nature of our ICs and their fight for business,” adds Goldman.
“We always encourage our Smarties to think outside the box and give them the tools they need to run their own businesses – in their own style and time,” Goldman said.
“We have a secret toolkit we unveil during the recruitment process, and all our new recruits can’t believe the access we give them to exclusive arrangements we have across the industry”.
Smartflyer Australia boasts a membership of over 15 preferred hotel programs and exclusively negotiated deals at hotels around the world.
