Seabourn has relaunched services in the United States with the arrival of Seabourn Ovation into PortMiami, Florida on Thursday [18 November 2021] last week. The vessel arrived after a 12-day Atlantic crossing.
The 604-guest ultra-luxury ship didn’t take long to get back into action, and is currently in the Caribbean. Homeporting from Miami, the ship will also offer a series of departures to the Panama Canal and destinations in Mexico and Central America through to March 2022.

The program was released in July after Seabourn shelved the local deployment of Ovation in Australia and New Zealand due to uncertainty on whether the ship would be permitted to operate.
“A first-time arrival is always special for any Seabourn ship, and Seabourn Ovation’s first visit to the US and Miami will be a great start to an exciting season for our newest ship amid the tropical beauty of the Caribbean and Central America,” said Josh Leibowitz, President of Seabourn. “Miami offers an easily accessible port for North American guests and those coming from Europe, so it will be a perfect getaway as winter settles in across those regions of the world.”
To mark Seabourn Ovation’s inaugural call, a traditional plaque exchange ceremony was held aboard the ship, including Leibowitz; Holland America Line Group’s Chief Operations Officer Natalya Leahy and Seabourn Ovation Captain Stig Betten, along with local officials from PortMiami and Miami-Dade Police Department.
