Brett Tollman reveals his TTC Top 3 Wanderlist of 2022

Three destinations and experiences The Travel Corporation CEO can't wait to sample

The Travel Corporation‘s Global Chief Executive, Brett Tollman, has revealed his Top 3 Wanderlist travel experiences for 2022.

Revealing his shortlist on social media, Tollman outlined his favourite places to explore next year include Patagonia with Adventure World, Italy with Luxury Gold and some US National Parks with Trafalgar.

“I am inspired to discover the remote beauty of Patagonia and would like to join Adventure World’s Active Patagonia trip with my family,” Tollman said, having launched Adventure World Travel in the United States earlier this year – a move flagged first by LATTE three years ago.

The “culinary trained foodie” said he admired Argentinean master chef, Francis Mallmann who has developed his own Patagonian style of cooking, which guests of the itinerary would experience at his Patagonia Sur restaurant in La Boca, Buenos Aires. Other trip highlights include exploring Glaciares National Park, Tierra del Fuego National Park and canoeing across Lapataia Bay.

Tollman pinpointed Luxury Gold’s Ultimate Italy guided journey, a trip he’d like to take first-hand with his wife, for its “Exceptional Dining” experiences including lunch in Capri with views of the Gulf of Naples from Michelin-starred Mammà restaurant. The small group journey also incorporates a “Chairman’s Collection” Experience, which had been personally curated Tollman’s father, the late Stanley Tollman.

That experience involves meeting Italian nobleman, Marchese Mazzei at his Tuscan estate, Castello di Fonterutoli, in the Chianti region of Italy.

“My third wanderlist trip is to explore the beauty of my own backyard and the majestic landscapes of the US National Parks this coming summer,” Tollman said. For this adventure, the TTC boss said he’d travel with family on Trafalgar’s Yellowstone, The Tetons and Glacier National Park tour. This new trip features a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van capped at 17 guests, which “enables exclusive access to Montana’s unforgettable places to visit including Madison Buffalo Jump”.

A journey highlight of the US itinerary is a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience in Montana, “where we will participate in an Indigenous arts and crafts workshop at Salish Kootenai Native American College and a “Be My Guest” lunch from a local, Indigenous-inspired food truck.”
