Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has unveiled a preview of its 2023/24 program which includes a collection of voyages in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific aboard two ships. The ultra-luxury cruise line is currently enabling clients to reserve their preferred cruise online or through a travel agency partner without any obligation.
The program encompasses 128 routes aboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ five ships: MS EUROPA and sister-ship MS EUROPA 2 and expedition vessels HANSEATIC spirit, HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC nature.

Cruise options include classic voyages, exotic premiere routes and varied format trips with calls in metropolises such as San Francisco or St. Petersburg. But also small ports like St. Kilda, Wismar and the Ile d’Yeu as well as untouched regions like Micronesia, Franz-Josef-Land and Kamchatka are on the program.
The German cruise line’s bilingual sailings are available aboard MS EUROPA 2 which has 28 voyages in 2023/2024 including eight premiere ports. Among the sailings, MS EUROPA 2 will offer five close-to-home sailings in the Pacific. They include:

EUROPA 2 will cruise the American West Coast down to South America for the first time, encompassing the Napa Valley wine region and a day passage through the Panama Canal, among other highlights.
HANSEATIC inspiration options
North American voyages through the Great Lakes, St. Lawerence River and Panama from late September to late November 2023 will kick-start the program for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ bi-lingual expedition cruises aboard HANSEATIC inspiration in 2023/24.
The five-star ship then commences a series of Antarctic expeditions from late November to South Georgia, Falkland Islands, Weddell Sea, South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula, operating roundtrip from Ushuaia through until early February 2024.
After her Antarctica season, HANSEATIC inspiration will offer head north via the Amazon before tracking onward to Europe, the UK and onto Norway and Spitsbergen from mid-June for a batch of sailings to Svalbard from Longyearbyen, and coupled with adventures to Franz-Josef-Land (Russia), Iceland and Greenland in July and August 2024.
Pacific expedition sailings
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ HANSEATIC spirit – one of two German-only speaking expedition ships – will also visit regional waters for the first time in 2024 following her Antarctic deployment from November to March, which includes an attempt at a 35-day semi-circumnavigation of the White Continent (Trip No. SPI2402), from Ushuaia to Christchurch departing 26 January.
HANSEATIC spirit will then offer the following sailings across parts of the Pacific:

From May 2024, HANSEATIC spirit will then sail onto Micronesia, the Philippines, Japan, Russia’s Far East, then Alaska and the Inside Passage. The highlight of her Arctic season will be crossing the Northwest Passage from Seward to Kangerlussuaq.
HANSEATIC nature will mainly travel on European routes this season.
