Fiji Airways will resume commercial flights from Brisbane to Fiji from Sunday 23 January after Queensland announced this week it would enable quarantine-free international travel starting this Saturday.
The airline will launch up to five flights per week from Brisbane Airport to Nadi, Fiji until March 2022, reverting to daily flights from April onwards.

Fiji Airways last operated to Brisbane in March 2020, before the island nation shut down to international tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Fiji Airways will be the first, and currently only airline, to recommence commercial flights between Brisbane and Fiji in nearly two years,” said Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways. “We are so excited to finally welcome our friends from Queensland back on board our state of the art aircraft and safely transport them to a well-deserved holiday in Fijian paradise.”
