Cruise Lines International Association Australasia has set the agenda for its Ocean Debut Virtual Showcase for 2022.
CLIA members in Australia and New Zealand participating in the online event – to be held from Tuesday 15 to Thursday 24 March – will be provided an overview of some of the “most anticipated new ships”, delving into ship facts, dining, entertainment, accommodation, innovations and experiences available onboard.
This year’s showcase is focused on a dozen brand new ships that have recently launched or are slated to enter service throughout the year. Among the brands are Emerald Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Azamara, Quark Expeditions and MSC Cruises.
Those brands will shine the spotlight on vessels including Emerald Azzurra, Resilient Lady, Celebrity Beyond, Norwegian Prima, Azamara Onward, Ultramarine and MSC World Europa.
Other cruise lines participating in CLIA’s online education sessions include Disney Cruise Line (Disney Wish), Princess Cruises (Discovery Princess), Carnival (Carnival Celebration) and Royal Caribbean International (Wonder of the Seas). MSC Cruises will also provide an overview of MSC Seascape.
Each of the 1-hour sessions will start at 11:30am (AEDT) / 1:30pm (NZDT) and profile two ships. The program is planned as follows:
