A month after Middle Eastern real estate development company, Select Group let the cat out of the bag, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has confirmed it is indeed launching its first property in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai.
The 61-room hotel and 162 branded residences will be positioned along a private stretch of beach on Palm Jumeirah’s West Crescent.

Six Senses says recognising the significance of coral reefs to the UAE and efforts to preserve them, coral is the main inspiration for the architectural narrative, with the undulating rooflines, silhouettes, and cellular facades resembling its natural form and beauty.
During the last few years, Dubai has ramped up its sustainability efforts and Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is an opportunity to become a benchmark for wellness while supporting sustainable development and the local communities who will come together to bring it to life.
At the core of Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is a 5,574 square metre social and wellness club, offering a longevity clinic, IV lounge, biohacking room, massage circuit pool, squash court, working spaces and Six Senses Spa, which is also inspired by the textured coral reefs under the sea. Careful and considered lighting design incorporates natural light to create a range of moods and immersive experiences.
Commenting on the announcement and the brand’s foray into the UAE market, Chief Executive Officer of Six Senses Neil Jacobs said, “Six Senses The Palm, Dubai marks a new milestone for the brand as it enters this remarkable destination. The residential offering will include 162 branded residences including Penthouses, Royal Penthouses, and duplex Sky Villas. There are also nine five-bedroom beachfront Signature Villas, each offering a garden, infinity pool, and palm-framed views to the beach.

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is forecast to open in late 2024.
