Accor will debut its luxury Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand in Japan with its first property earmarked to open in 2025 in Tokyo.
Fairmont Tokyo will occupy the upper floors of the South Tower of the Shibaura Project, currently under development in the district of the same name. The hotel will feature 219 rooms and suites overlooking Tokyo Bay. Fairmont Tokyo will also offer a range of suites, three restaurants and bars, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, chapel and more.

Fairmont’s entry into Japan will be in an enviable location in Tokyo, an 18-minute drive from Haneda International Airport and within close proximity to Hamamatsucho Railway Station.

Fairmont Tokyo joins a hotel portfolio that includes such landmark addresses as The Plaza, A Fairmont Managed Hotel in New York; The Savoy, A Fairmont Managed Hotel in London; Fairmont San Francisco; Fairmont Banff Springs in Canada; and Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai.
