Rocky Mountaineer recently hosted travel partners from across the Asia Pacific region onboard the new Rockies to the Red Rocks journey in Southwest USA. The itinerary is a 2-day, 1-night trip travelling between Moab, Utah and Denver, Colorado (or vice versa) with an overnight stay in the picturesque town of Glenwood Springs.
The Canadian rail company have bought their award-winning train journey to the American Southwest, complete with regionally inspired meals and wines, onboard hosts and storytelling.
These travel partners travelled from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand for this trip of a lifetime and were among the first travellers from this part of the world to experience the luxury product. Rockies to the Red Rocks launched for a preview season in 2021, with 2022 offering a full season running between April adn October.
The scenery of Utah and Colorado is just as spectacular, and the onboard service and storytelling as highly regarded, as travellers’ experience in Canada.
Guests follow the Colorado River in SilverLeaf or SilverLeaf Plus carriages, journeying past the Red Rocks of Utah, and the mountain vistas of the American Rockies.
