Luxury global travel community to promote sustainable destinations

After having gathered international Members and Partners for their annual Presidents’ Club in Marseille for 3 years, Serandipians by Traveller Made have entered a formal partnership with the Capital of Provence.

The new strategic partnership with the French city will help Marseille boost its awareness on the luxury travel radar with 500 boutique travel agencies worldwide that are today members of the network, and promote its various attractions, among which art & culture, gastronomy, shopping and nature.

Quentin Desurmont, Serandipians by Traveller Made’s Founder said: “We are very aware of the impact we, as luxury travellers and professionals, have on the environment. Serandipians and Traveller Made are taking yet another step towards minimising this impact and trying to involve as many actors of the luxury travel ecosystem as we can.

“Partnering with a destination like Marseille goes along the same line, and we warmly welcome them to our community.”

“In keeping with the times and the challenges of this era, Marseille continually seeks to make even more room for development and sustainable tourism. This implies, in particular, the setting up of sustainable tourist routes at every level, and the mobilisation of engaged players from across the entire tourist ecosystem. While this work to make Marseille a greener city will always be on our agenda, the first steps put in place to preserve its biodiversity are already bearing fruit. Like the new rare species that have been found in the Calanques National Park,” say Marseille Tourism officials about the city’s sustainability vision.
