Global travel network Virtuoso has this week been meeting again with its members in New Zealand for the first time post-pandemic at an event held in Auckland.
Michele Duncan, Account Director, Member Relations and recently appointed Jen Pagett, Account Manager, Member Relations have spent the past few days reconnecting with the New Zealand-based Virtuoso community, in person, and continuing to forge relationships without the need for a Zoom meeting.

Their visit culminated in a luxury networking dinner in partnership with Tourism Australia. Virtuoso Advisors from around the country gathered to indulge in a delicious degustation of local produce whilst learning why there really is Nothing like Australia.
“This event has brought together some of New Zealand’s leading luxury travel advisors,” said Daniel Wright from Tourism Australia. “ We are thrilled to work alongside Virtuoso to keep Australia on the map for Kiwi travellers. With New Zealand’s borders closed for over two years, there is plenty of pent-up demand for high-end experiential travel.
“We are here to help Virtuoso members turn Australian travel dreams into reality,” Wright remarked.

Fiona Dalton, General Manager Australia & New Zealand said it was great to see the luxury network’s membership team engaging face-to-face with members across the ditch “who are such an important part of our regional Virtuoso community.

“Here at Virtuoso, we’re believers in the power of human connection, be it connecting Virtuoso with members and partners or assisting members to connect their travellers with the best experiences from around the world. This week in New Zealand is a great example of that,” Dalton added.
