Tourism Western Australia has this week rolled out its West Aussie All Stars (WAAS) trade training program, an educational tool designed to help travel professionals effectively sell Western Australia.
Travel advisors can become a West Aussie All Star by completing eight training modules featuring the five regions of Western Australia: Destination Perth, Australia’s South West, Australia’s Coral Coast, Australia’s North West and Australia’s Golden Outback.

The WAAS is an interactive online training program that will provide the travel trade with a greater understanding of the state, enabling them to build inspiring itineraries for clients to tick off their adventure bucket list. Qualified advisors will also gain access to benefits including a digital WAAS badge for inclusion on assets and first consideration for Western Australia famils and east coast trade events.

To entice participation in the WAAS, Tourism Western Australia is offering the travel trade an incentive. Those successfully completing all eight modules in the first 4 weeks of the launch, will be in the running to be one of five entrants to be selected to win a Broome pearl, including a famil to Broome to collect it.
