Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has debuted the brand’s first hotel in the German-speaking market with the launch of Rosewood Vienna.
Positioned at Petersplatz, one of Vienna’s most famous squares, Rosewood Vienna is just steps away from Graben, Kohlmarkt and Tuchlauben pedestrian streets, synonymous for their luxury shops, restaurants and proximity to the city’s cultural and historical sites.

Rosewood Vienna is housed within the former HQ of the Erste Group Bank AG, the 19th-century landmark is comprised of buildings of historic pedigree including the apartment in which Mozart lived and wrote The Abduction from the Seraglio. Today, the bank has been transformed into a hotel of singular luxury with 71 guestrooms and 28 suites.
A brasserie on the sixth floor and rooftop bar offer sweeping views of Vienna’s Old Town. The property – Rosewood’s fifth in Europe – is home to Asaya Spa for integrated well-being, which will incorporate therapies and spa treatments inspired by Austria’s wellness traditions beginning in September 2022.
