SIXT Australia is bolstering its luxury vehicle fleet under a new partnership with BMW. Shortly, the car rental firm will begin rolling out 400 premium vehicles for hire across the country over the next 12 months including BMW 330i, 220i Gran Coupé, and X3 xDrive30i.

The company is also set to introduce the first of 100 BMW iX3 Electric Vehicles nationwide, bolstering a growing fleet of EVs with an electric SUV option for customers.

SIXT launched in 2021 with the largest fleet of electric vehicles in Australia and plans to convert half of its 16,000 nationwide rental fleet to electric in the coming years to help deliver on the nation’s net zero emissions target.

Matt Beattie, CEO of SIXT Australia said he was proud to be providing new premium options for customers and growing SIXT’s electric vehicle fleet with one of the world’s most recognisable luxury vehicle brands.

“At SIXT, we are obsessed with growing our electric vehicle fleet and providing our customers with options to travel in comfort and style. So whether travelling for business or a weekend away we are pleased to be partnering with BMW to provide both for our customers.”

“One of the greatest advantages of hiring an electric vehicle through SIXT is that there is no charge to recharge. Just return your vehicle and we’ll recharge it for you so you can save time and money.”
