Hilton is expanding its contemporary luxury brand Conrad Hotels & Resorts in Singapore, unveiling plans to rebrand Regent Singapore as Conrad Singapore Orchard.
Spread over two phases, Conrad Singapore Orchard’s restaurants and bars, and its meeting spaces, will reposition and welcome guests from 1 January 2023. The hotel’s rooms and suites will open in Q1 2024 after extensive refurbishments, bringing new levels of sophisticated, modern luxury to Singapore’s iconic Orchard Road.
Conrad Singapore Orchard will be the second Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in Singapore, joining Conrad Centennial Singapore.
“Singapore is one of the world’s leading travel destinations, and a priority market for Hilton. We are excited to build on our shared success with Pontiac Land Group and Kajima Development to expand our award-winning Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand here,” said Clarence Tan, Senior VP Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
“As the fastest growing hospitality company in Asia Pacific, Hilton is focused on delivering best-in-class owner returns, and we are confident of doing so in a market that has been exceptionally resilient in the face of a pandemic and continues to outperform in business and leisure travel alike.”
“Following its renovation, the reimagined property will unveil another elevated, hallmark design and seamless connection between impactful experiences and purposeful service to inspire even the most discerning luxury traveller,”said Dino Michael, Snior VP and global category head, luxury brands, Hilton.
The announcement of Conrad Singapore Orchard comes on the back of two recent signings that will see the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand debut in the major cities of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Nagoya, Japan. Conrad Kuala Lumpur, slated to open next year, will mark the brand’s debut in Malaysia, while Conrad Nagoya – the city’s first – will open in 2026.
