Silversea Cruises make its highly anticipated return to ocean sailing in Australian waters with Silver Muse on an 18-day voyage from Singapore to Sydney, departing Singapore on 2 December 2022.
In April this year, Australia welcomed back cruise ships for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, and Silversea has since operated a successful season in the Kimberley region aboard its expedition ship Silver Explorer. Silver Muse’s return in December marks the highly anticipated return of ocean cruising in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia. Her return marks the first of six sailings in the region in the summer of 2022/2023.

“This voyage marks a long-awaited and momentous return to Asia and Australia for Silversea,” said Adam Radwanski, Managing Director of Silversea Asia Pacific. “Silver Muse is our first ocean liner in the Asia-Pacific seas in more than 1,000 days. It is so rewarding to both our staff on board and in the office to have Silver Muse sail in the Asia Pacific region again.
“This is a huge milestone for cruise’s recovery in this region,” Radwanski added.
The voyage will depart from Singapore, with two days at sea, before reaching Indonesia and the destinations of Bali and Lombok. Three days at sea mark the journey to Australia, with the first destinations in Fremantle, Busselton, and Albany. Two more days at sea along the Australian coast will lead travellers to Kangaroo Island and Melbourne.

Joining Silver Muse from the Silversea fleet is Silver Whisper, which will arrive in December, followed by Silver Shadow who arrives in Sydney in January to commence the World Cruise 2023 – the first time a Silversea World Cruise has departed from any Australian city.
