Last week, Virtuoso held On Tour events in Sydney on 8 November; Gold Coast on 9 November; and Melbourne on 10 November, at which 18 of their luxury ocean, river and expedition cruise partners were showcased to over 350 Virtuoso advisors.
With human connection at the heart of Virtuoso’s objectives and luxury clientele looking to book further ahead than ever before, advisors were deeply immersed in timely product and ship knowledge while building on their valued relationships through networking with Virtuoso’s key cruise partners.
“It’s a busy time for everyone and while Virtuoso advisors are busy booking luxury travel again, Virtuoso’s events have been a wonderful opportunity to be together with our friends old and new and to reconnect out of the office. Last week, we developed deeper connections with advisors from around Australia and of course discussed the hottest topic in travel – luxury cruising!”, said Alice Ager, Managing Director, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

Virtuoso also ventured across the ditch to New Zealand to connect with advisors and preferred partners in Auckland at a Virtuoso Connects event on Monday, 14 November. Leith Sisson, North Shore Business Travel said “It was fantastic to meet so many fabulous preferred partners in New Zealand for Virtuoso’s first Connects event across the ditch.
“The connections and relationships that Virtuoso advisors build at these events are invaluable when planning trips of a lifetime for our clients, and we are grateful for Virtuoso’s in region support,” Sisson added.
This series wraps up Virtuoso’s event schedule for the year, which comprised 17 in-person events around Australia and New Zealand. These constructive events facilitated over 26,000 connections between advisors and preferred partners, including events in Adelaide and Auckland for the first time since the pandemic.

Fiona Dalton, General Manager, Virtuoso Australia and New Zealand, said: “2022 certainly has been the year of revival, and as a team, we set out right from the start to ensure we put the spotlight on the two stakeholders in our Virtuoso community where the magic happens: our advisors, many of whom came back into their roles full-time earlier in the year looking to upskill and reconnect, and our preferred partners committed to rebuilding their business through those same advisors from Australia and New Zealand.
“As a result, the Virtuoso team here in the region is proud to have delivered many opportunities for advisors to elevate their expertise and consolidate their relationships with preferred partners,” Dalton said.
“We have great plans to continue to innovate our events program to differentiate our advisors and provide new and exciting opportunities for our partners in 2023.”
