Link Travel Group hosted its first event since launching in May as a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT), The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies.
Held at the West Hotel, the Curio Collection by Hilton, in Sydney’s CBD, Link hosted leaders from 100 key suppliers, including airlines, luxury hotels, insurance, cruise and tour companies. This celebration offered suppliers the opportunity to learn more about this progressive, industry-leading partnership’s plans for the future of the travel industry in Australia.
Link Travel Group has grown from strength to strength, welcoming distinguished travel agencies into this invitation-only member group. Attending the event were Link Travel Group Founders, Danielle Galloway, Penny Spencer and Anthony Goldman, as well as General Manager, Scott Darlow, and leaders of Link member agencies from around the country.
Darlow hosted a conversational panel with the Link Travel Group Founders to share their experience building this unique joint venture, their growth so far, and their trajectory for the coming years.
At an event brimming with industry leaders, many openly shared positive sentiments about their perception of Link Travel Group and the exceptional calibre of its growing membership. It was apparent to the crowd that Link presents an unparalleled opportunity, and many expressed an eagerness to continue their engagement with this invitation-only network.
“The event was a celebration of collaboration and openness, which is what we need in the industry. Our supplier partners will work with our members to attract the right clientele to our agencies and maximise financial returns for both parties. The sentiment in the room was joyful and full of camaraderie,” said Darlow.
Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of Premium and Independent Divisions, Flight Centre Travel Group added: “Flight Centre Travel Group is honoured to be building Link Travel Group alongside such esteemed industry colleagues. We are overjoyed about the industry’s warm reception of Link Travel Group and I personally have been thrilled about the opportunity to directly engage such incredible businesses peoples, families and entrepreneurs.
