Viking has ratcheted up the number of departures on its top-selling European River Cruises for the 2023 season, adding more than 50 new sailings.
The cruise line said the service increase is “due to popular demand” with the strongest additional uplift being for Viking’s 8-day Lyon & Provence itinerary where there are now 34 additional departures to the previously planned schedule. The voyage is priced from $2,995 per person twin share, with savings of up to $2,000 per couple.
Viking’s new 15-day Lyon, Provence and the Rhineland has also been brought forward with new departures from April 2023, with some 27 departures available to choose from. Prices start from $5,895 per person twin share, with savings of up to $4,600 per couple on offer.
Similarly, the sailing season of the 10-day Portugal’s River of Gold voyage has been expanded, seeing 20 new departures in November and December 2023. Lead-in prices start at $4,495 per person twin share, and savings of up to $2,000 per couple.
“With plenty of new dates to choose from, now is the time to book your stateroom on these highly sought-after voyages,” Viking told guests via email last weekend.
