PONANT has welcomed the return of small expedition ship Le Lapérouse to Sydney Harbour after more than three years, kickstarting its highly anticipated 2023 season.

Among the close-to-home sailings, Le Lapérouse is set to explore the heart of remote islands, sandy beaches and encaptivating landscapes of the Queensland coast and natural coastal wonders of Tasmania, uncover immersive expeditions through the wild and grandiose landscapes of the Kimberley, visit the preserved nature and magical landscapes of the North and South Islands of New Zealand and sail through the ancient cultures of Indonesia.

Le Lapérouse will embark on a new 8-day expedition from Sydney to Hobart this evening, combining the best natural and cultural treasures of the south-eastern coast of Australia. Following this, she will round out the year on a 11-day ‘Food, Wine and Yacht Race in Tasmania’ itinerary departing on 23 December where guests can enjoy the finish line of the 2022 Sydney to Hobart yacht race and the New Year festivities.
