Sales with Cunard are soaring, with the cruise line reporting that in the first week of January 2023, it booked more guests than any equivalent period in the last decade.
Cunard said it has seen strong booking momentum across 2023 and 2024 sailings, with summer itineraries and Queen Anne‘s maiden season proving to be popular with guests.
Sture Myrmell, President of Carnival UK said: “Following two of our strongest booking periods in 2022, we have seen unparalleled bookings during the start of Wave.”
“We’ve increased our marketing investment significantly, including the use of TV advertising for the first time as we reach and appeal to new audiences,” Myrmell said.
“It’s clear that guests are looking forward to stepping back on board both in the UK and across all our global markets.”
Locally, last week Cunard launched a new advertising campaign for the Australian market, headed by songstress Delta Goodrem. The campaign launch coincided with the start of the Australian Open and features a 30 second TVC running across various TV channels, VOD, BVOD, as well as the full 100-second version (view below) on paid social and YouTube for three months.
