Both the Svalbard Express and the North Cape Express will be sailing onboard the MS Trollfjord, which will be refurbished during the first half of 2023. Cabins will be upgraded and feature modern Scandinavian design, along with a full enhancement of the restaurants and lounge areas. Both itineraries will offer an elevated Coastal experience: half-or full-day port visits; cooking classes; wine, beer, champagne, and whisky tastings; a food centre; and onboard entertainment. Dining options will include an à la carte restaurant with tasting menus, all-day dining, afternoon tea, and takeaway service.
Over 60 shore excursions will be available for guests onboard these new sailings, with activities ranging from fishing in Lofoten, hiking through Gjesværstappan Nature Reserve and experiencing a traditional sauna in Træna on The Svalbard Express; or dog sledding, Arctic ice fishing and whale watching on the North Cape Express.
