Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has coined a new term for its growing stable of ad-hoc itineraries under the ‘Limited Edition Collection’.
The title is offered on a few of Uniworld’s “special departures” and those that are “so unique that we can only sail them once or twice a year,” the cruise line said.
“Our Limited-Edition Collection is full of incredible journeys, created to bring like-minded travelers together for extra special trips that are unique to our portfolio,” said Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

Among the portfolio are Uniworld’s Mystery Cruises which keep the guests guessing where they are heading right up until the 11th hour; its Rivers of the World itineraries, and ‘Out on the Rivers’ voyages that are dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community (with two departures) hosted by gay and lesbian travel veterans, along with Floating Art Workshops hosted by special guests artists, scheduled for three dates in 2023.
The catalog also includes two Butterfield & Robinson ‘Cruise Biking’ tours in September 2023 that are focused on immersing guests in destinations by bicycle. Both 8-days in duration, the first sailing is on the Danube between Munich and Budapest, departing on 10 September, and the other a week later on the Rhine from Basel to Amsterdam.
Bettridge also said a women’s cruise for 2024 will soon be added to the collection, with more details to follow.
