Crystal Cruises is expected to soon confirm details of a Round-the-World voyage as the A&K Travel Group-backed luxury cruise line continues to ramp up its operation restart. Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony are planned to re-enter service on 31 July and 1 September 2023, respectively.
According to a recent update on sailings available to the public, Crystal Serenity will once again be utilised as Crystal’s workhorse for the 142-night world tour, which is scheduled to depart Miami, Florida on 18 January 2024 (one day later than the originally planned World Cruise for the same ship).
At this stage, Crystal’s website does not list any World Cruises or Grand Voyages, with the longest individual sailing being a 60-night Lisbon to Athens departure aboard Crystal Symphony on 7 October 2024 that visits 12 countries.

As LATTE revealed last month, Crystal Cruises had left a six-month void in the relaunched deployment program of the luxury line’s larger of two ships, between late December 2023 and early July 2024. That period has now been filled, with the hallmarks of a westward-RTW itinerary now in alignment.
Crystal Serenity has been scheduled to operate nine sailings ranging from 11- to 18-nights’ duration on legs between Miami and San Diego, and onwards to Papeete, Auckland, Perth, Mumbai, Istanbul, La Seyne, and a transatlantic voyage back to Miami, returning on 14 June 2024.
The 18-night segment between Auckland and Perth (9 – 27 March) also includes an overnight on Sydney Harbour at Circular Quay on 16 March 2024 – as LATTE exclusively foreshadowed in November 2022.
Other ports in Australia that Crystal Serenity will visit in 2024 include Eden (18 March), Melbourne (20 March), Adelaide (22 March), Busselton (26 March) and Fremantle (27 March), as well as Broome (30 March) enroute to Mumbai, via Southeast Asia.

Ahead of the expected worldwide cruise, there appear to be two separate 13-night Caribbean sailings, also roundtrip from Miami, that could potentially be added before the big kahuna.
Crystal Serenity‘s 23 December 2023 voyage visits the Bahamas, West Indies, Barbados, Grenada and the British Virgin Islands, while the 5 January 2024 cruise explores Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands, French West Indies and Puerto Rico (among others), with only St Lucia the same port repeated on both Caribbean runs. That means Crystal Cruises’ fans could then potentially build either a colossal 155-night or behemoth 168-night itinerary.
LATTE sought confirmation on the suspected Round-the-World voyage from Crystal.
