Sailings on Ritz-Carlton’s second yacht open to the public

Ilma's maiden cruise slated for 19 September 2024

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has opened the inaugural 2024 Mediterranean season for Ilma, the second superyacht in its fleet, to the general public. The program launch comes more than three weeks after the ultra-luxury cruise company gave top-tier members of Marriott’s loyalty program, Bonvoy, first access to the deployment.

Currently, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection (RCYC) is offering just six departures aboard Ilma, with the maiden journey a seven-night voyage from Athens, Greece to Haifa, Israel, departing on 19 September 2024.

The new Ilma Suite floorplan for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's second vessel, Ilma.

Ilma – which translates to “water” in Maltese and pays homage to the sea – will measure feature 228 suites, each with their own private terrace. Accommodating up to 456 guests, RCYC says Ilma will offer one of the highest space ratios at sea and a significant percentage of larger suites, with two new, spacious upper suite categories measuring more than 1,000 square feet in size.

In addition to the eight categories of accommodation offered onboard, the new superyacht will include five restaurants, six bars, a wine vault, and signature spaces found on Evrima such as an expanded marina with a new mezzanine feature, a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa, and a special space for Ritz Kids programming.
