For travel advisors, the alliance presents an opportunity to upsell Uniworld guests to Adventure World’s ‘Travel with Purpose’ experiences which offer guests immersive encounters in destinations, people, culture and wildlife. The range includes private, customised journeys that have been curated to seamlessly connect with Uniworld cruises, as pre or post. They include extraordinary boutique luxury accommodation to World Heritage sites, National Parks, conservation areas and more, paired with suggested and/or customised itineraries.

Uniworld's US website now features a page on Adventure World's customisable extensions

Neil Rogers, Managing Director, Adventure World told LATTE the tie-up between The Travel Corporation brands would launch on Uniworld’s website in the US market initially before a wider dispatch.

“As passengers disembark their Uniworld ship in Europe, on the Amazon, in India or Egypt, Adventure World is there to meet them,” Rogers said, with Adventure World providing all the necessary FIT travel arrangements to get them to their experience.

The custom extensions are available in the Nordics, Africa, West Asia, India and Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia and South America. Other destinations and itineraries within the Adventure World portfolio can also be requested.

Alice Ager, Managing Director, Australia/New Zealand for Uniworld told LATTE “the partnership provides incredible pre- and post-cruise options that are tailored to the guest preference and offer a seamless extended experience”.

From any of Uniworld’s European cruises, guests can choose experiences such as a 4-night Scenic South Iceland from Reykjavik, an 8-night Arctic Lights trip to Oslo and Finland, or a 9-night trip to Norway. Egypt cruises can be paired with extensions in Southern Africa (to Kenya, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe), or Morocco and the Arabian Peninsula.

India and Southeast Asia sailings can be linked with trips on private houseboats in Kerala, wildlife safaris in Taj jungle resorts; while Amazon small-ship voyages can be upsold to include adventures by rail through the Andes, gourmet experiences in Lima, a luxury catamaran cruise in the Galapagos, and explorations of Easter Island, or trips that include the Belmond Andean Explorer and Lake Titicaca.

To request a customisable extension the client or Travel Advisor completes a form online via Uniworld’s website which is on-forwarded to Adventure World’s consultants.
